Lilac catered the Wedding Rehearsal Dinner, Welcome Party and Sunday Brunch for my son and daughter-in-law's wedding. They went out of their way to cater to our different food needs (food allergies, vegetarian, etc). They were first class all the way. Most importantly they took care of everything. Since I live across the country from Winthrop, Maine, I trusted Kim and her staff entirely. Everything was delicious and presented so beautifully. They helped create a perfect weekend for our families!

Kim and Clark (owners) are amazing. If you ever worried about not feeling comfortable with a bunch of strangers running around all of your guests, DON'T. Kim and Clark make their services and their family team feel like they're just a couple more members of your family enjoying in the beauty of your day. Great food, drink and great service on top of a great feeling of family makes this business a great find.

Kim, her husband, and her team went above and beyond our expectations. They first began by preparing a delicious taste testing for my fiancé and parents. All along the way they worked within our budget and made a delicious and elegant meal. They made sure that we didn't have to worry about the small details. Their team was professional, caring, and excelled at making our wedding beyond memorable. They were responsive to emails, calls, questions. The food and drinks were delicious. If you are looking for a caterer that treats you like family, allows and encourages you to share ideas for the menu all for a very reasonable cost...look no further than Lilac Mixology & Catering! We hired them to caterer the rehearsal dinner as well as the wedding reception along with providing bar service both evenings and bridal party prep nourishments.

At our request for a casual rehearsal dinner where the wedding party along with out of town guests and family could enjoy each others company, the team prepared a casual pizza buffet of grilled gourmet pizzas with salads, bruschetta, tortilla chips, and pastry platter that included cannoli. They took basic party food and elevated it to a sophisticated gourmet spread that was not intimidating to the average joe but would impress any foodie. The next day (wedding day!) Kim had set up a lovely spread of fruit, veggies, power trail mix, meat & cheese platter to make sandwiches along with water and of course mimosa fixings. It was perfect to give the bridal party a little fuel power to get them through the day during prep for the wedding. That evening the food was an amazing presentation of local sourced products of tender beef tenderloin and pesto chicken (to die for). Again buffet style with an elevated elegance.
As for the bar service, Clark along with son Zack and other bartender Chris created 2 amazing signature drinks Apple Sangria and Apple Cider Whiskey...did I say AMAZING! Clark was willing to meet our requests and again kept with the locally sourced theme and served Maine Kraft Beers and Wines along with what you find at any bar. They kept the guests happy and were very professional making sure no one was out of control.
Throughout the entire weekend the Lilac team made sure we were happy and meeting our needs and requests. Kim and Clark are a very special couple that truly love feeding people...they make you feel like you are an old friend eating at their family table. Just a lovely couple to work with.

I can not say enough about the amazing experience we had with Lilac Mixology & Catering. From the moment we started the process of planning our wedding, Kim was always there and made us feel like top priority. Not only did she meet us at the venue on the first day, she went out of her way after that to help in every step. My wife and I live out of state and had few opportunities to meet with her and her team but whenever we came into town she made it work. Lilac's team is incredible, mostly importantly the day before and the day of the wedding. The family really does take care of every single need and even things you may have forgotten about. They worked with our budget and personal tastes to make a dream menu. We also had a few allergies and a vegan request and Kim easily made them all their own plates, my guests were so impressed and thankful! We can't say enough great things and we will always remember the amazing food and team that helped make our day perfect. Thank you Lilac and Kim!

Truly an amazing experience from start to finish! They are a dream for any couple ready to tie the knot.

Firstly, a huge part of our decision-making process was the fact that they do a tasting!! Why other places seem to think that you will hire them without having tried a sample of the food you will be eating is beyond me!

A list of a few things they went above and beyond to help us with; Sticking with our budget, making specialty cocktails for each of us, taking our idea (a taco bar) and making it a million times better than we ever could have expected, working with fresh ingredients and making *the best tacos we have ever had* (and we are taco freaks), being extremely detail-oriented with the presentation of the food, helping us with things that normal caterers would not have done. Overall going above and beyond for us in more ways than we probably even know about.

Kim and Clark and their team are extremely generous and wonderful people. We are forever grateful and so happy that they helped us make our day as amazing as it was.

These folks were an absolute pleasure to work with, they truly went above and beyond to make this day so special for us! On the day of our wedding, my dog, the flower pup, was hanging out with my bridesmaids and I in the Bridal suite. Kimberly noticed that she was a bit excited by the festivities and offered to walk her around the venue to help get some energy out. It was a small gesture but made a huge difference and truly reflected how they would go out of their way to help us out and make our day special! I would absolutely hire them again!!
